August 2021

August usually sees CAMRA's Great British Beer Festival, held at Olympia in London, with the restrictions imposed as part of the Covid pandemic only being removed in mid-July it was not possible to organise the event in time. However, CAMRA took the opportunity to welcome drinkers back into the pubs by launching a Great British Beer Festival at Your Local, which ran between 30 Jul. and 8 Aug. Sadly, none of the pubs in our area were interested in taking up the idea.
